FAQs

I've never practiced yoga before. Can I still join?

Yes! Many people think that you need to be flexible in order to do yoga, but that can't be farther from the truth! Come as you are, and you will realize that yoga will help you become more flexible.

I have medical conditions, is it safe for me to practice yoga?

It is important to talk to your doctor before practicing yoga. After that, contact the teacher to see if any accommodations can be made to make you feel comfortable. Always remember to listen to your body.

What do I need to do bring to my class?

Make sure to bring a yoga mat, a water bottle, and a towel. Yoga props like bolsters and straps, are optional. Show up as your awesome beautiful self with a smile!

What should I do before the class?

It is important to refrain from eating 2 to 3 hours before the class. This is because you will be twisting, and bending, and if your meal has not fully digested, you will feel uncomfortable. Practice with an empty to light stomach and if you have any medical conditions that induce dizziness, eat some fruits an hour before the practice.

What if I can't do a certain pose?

It happens to most of us. If you cannot do a certain pose, be sure to let the teacher know. Variations to the pose will be provided and you can chose to do whatever you feel comfortable in. Props are great to help support the practitioners to modify and get into a pose or helps go deeper in a posture.
