It may be August, but it's never too late to get started on those New Years Resolutions! A great way to start eating healthier is by incorporating healthy (and delicious!) smoothies into your breakfast. This smoothie is packed with nutrient-rich fruits, protein and calcium, so it will keep you going until lunch!
The Summerific Berry Smoothie tastes like summer in a glass. It's quick and easy to prepare, and will be an instant hit in your family!
Ingredients
(Yields 2 smoothies)
1 cup of Strawberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup of Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
1 3/4 cup plain yogurt (you can swap this out for a few extra pieces of fruit for thickness)
1/4 cup honey
Method
Blend strawberries and blueberries in a blender until smooth
Add the honey and yogurt and blend
Serve cold and enjoy!
