You can't go wrong with this delicious fruit smoothie!

It may be August, but it's never too late to get started on those New Years Resolutions! A great way to start eating healthier is by incorporating healthy (and delicious!) smoothies into your breakfast. This smoothie is packed with nutrient-rich fruits, protein and calcium, so it will keep you going until lunch!


The Summerific Berry Smoothie tastes like summer in a glass. It's quick and easy to prepare, and will be an instant hit in your family!


Ingredients

(Yields 2 smoothies)

  • 1 cup of Strawberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 cup of Blueberries (fresh or frozen)

  • 1 3/4 cup plain yogurt (you can swap this out for a few extra pieces of fruit for thickness)

  • 1/4 cup honey

Method

  1. Blend strawberries and blueberries in a blender until smooth

  2. Add the honey and yogurt and blend

  3. Serve cold and enjoy!


Well, there you have it! A healthy and tasty way to start off your day. You'll be energized and ready to face the world. Who knew that a little smoothie could do that?
